Honeybee Control

Call now for Professional Honeybee Removal and Trapping Services.

Honeybee problems are our specialty. Dial us up now, and we can discuss how to get rid of honeybees humanely and professionally.

WHAT ARE HONEYBEE CHARACTERISTICS?

Most of us know what a honeybee looks like, though they can be easily mistaken for other stinging pests such as wasps, hornets and yellow-jackets. The hairy, brown and yellow flying insects are usually about a half-inch long, and when bee colonies are disturbed, the flying nuisances tend to attack and sting any moving animal or object.

In the natural world, honeybees will usually find a tree cavity or rock formation to nest in. But crawl spaces, attics, walls or chimneys of your home also serve as bee-infestation sites. Abandoned cars, garages and sheds are also great places for honeybees to nest around your property.

Depending on the season, a honeybee colony can contain 20,000 to 100,000 bees.

WHAT DO HONEYBEES EAT?

Honeybees eat nectar and pollen; therefore, any vegetation that gives them these foods will attract the bees. Flowers are the most common sources of bee food, but sugar, syrups, fruit juices and other sweet treats will draw, rather than repel, honeybees. This is why trash containers are a common place to see bee swarms: They can easily find sweet garbage to sup on in these areas. One or two bees that have located a food source can quickly turn into a honeybee colony.

WHAT KIND OF HONEYBEE DAMAGE IS THERE?

If a honeybee colony has moved into your walls or attic, serious bee problems can occur. Once they feel like your home is their home, honeybees will become quite aggressive in defending it by stinging humans and house pets that enter their territory. Oftentimes honeybee stings can be allergic for people, or even fatal. Honeybees have been known to chase humans they perceive as a threat for as much as a quarter of a mile.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO SOLVE MY HONEYBEE PROBLEM?

Removing a honeybee nest yourself can be both messy and dangerous. Our honeybee exterminators specialize in removing bees from crawl spaces, attics, walls, chimneys and other areas of your property through unique bee-trapping techniques. To get rid of them, we usually will kill the bees, clean the honeybee cavity and seal it back up to prevent future bee hives. Our professional, humane honeybee exterminators can also remove honey and honeycombs from your walls and attics. Otherwise, the sweet stuff will rot, start to stink, produce seeping stains, and then other pests will be drawn to your home.

We have never encountered a honeybee problem that we weren’t able to solve.
