Rats in AtticCall now for Professional Rat Removal and Rat Trapping Services.
Alive or dead, you don’t want rats in your attic. Since most of us don’t venture into the attic much, except for going through forgotten treasures once every move across state, there can be a lot going on up there that we may not be aware of until some disconcerting scurrying sounds sneak through one of those rare quiet moments, or a dryer goes on the fritz, or, heaven forbid, you’re walking from your bedroom into your kitchen and wonder why no one’s taken out the garbage for the past couple weeks. If someone has taken out the garbage, then you may want to trust your nose─a dead rat is not going anywhere and that smell’s going to get worse. Much worse. If what you’ve got are live rats, then one will soon be turning into many and all their constant gnawing and nibbling won’t take long to wreak havoc on your home and food storage. Any hole larger than a quarter is big enough for a rat to get through. Great climbers, don’t think that just the world beneath your home is open season to them. They can scale wires, jump and climb─any acrobatic it takes to get inside your home and den up. Locating these entrance sites is key so that once all the rats are removed, they can be sealed up properly and tightly preventing any more from re-entering your home or business. For rats in an attic, trapping is preferable over using store purchased rodenticide since a poisoned rat will crawl deep behind torn insulation into your rafters and walls where, in 3 to 5 days it will die from internal hemorrhage, bloat, then leak its internal fluids. Nasty scene─and not just for the rat. You don’t want dead rats in very difficult places to reach nor do you want to have to go in and try to find the source of a smell that will be so pervasive it will be difficult to tell exactly where it’s coming from. Locating, trapping, removing and block out is the surest method to safely free your attic from rat infestation. At bird and animal control we have the tools and the experience to efficiently resolve your particular situation.
