Maryland Animal Control

Call now for Professional Animal Removal and Trapping Services.

Maryland’s wild animals are diverse, intriguing, and generally shy of people.  Several species, however, are attracted to your business, home or other buildings for their shelter, food source, and breeding grounds.  They damage property, weaken structures, cause crop loss, threaten or attack your pets, poultry or livestock, contaminate food and water sources and sometimes even the air you breathe.

That is where we come in.  We are not insect exterminators, nor are we big game trappers.  We are the ones to call when nuisance wild animals are nesting inside your building, rooting through your yard or garden, ripping up commercial properties, tearing up your home or business, digging under your foundation, or threatening your health and safety.  The most common nuisance wildlife removed are: Maryland raccoons, bats, pigeons, skunks, swallows, woodpeckers, voles, rats, gophers, squirrels, moles, beavers, armadillos, chipmunks, mice, snakes, opossums, feral cats, porcupines, rabbits and honeybees.

No one enjoys a game of “What’s living in my attic?” or “What’s making that noise in the wall?” or “What’s scratching up under the floor boards?”  Is it a Maryland raccoon nesting in the attic, or a colony of Maryland bats roosting in the wall?  Is it a Maryland squirrel parading overhead or a nest of Maryland rats? Is it a Maryland skunk breeding under the deck or a Maryland chipmunk tunneling up against the foundation?

When you wake up to chittering and rustling above your head, or something scurries away when you turn on the light at work, it’s time to contact us.  When you head outside and find portions of your grass dug up, garbage strewn all over your property or a freshly dug den up against the building, it’s time to contact us.  When you find wild animal scat in the children’s play area, or there’s a horrific smell coming from the chimney, it’s time to contact us.  Your wildlife removal technician knows each species of nuisance wild animals, their habits, the damage they can cause and the potential threat they pose to your health and safety, and will safely and effectively remove the animals from out of your building and off of your property.

Sometimes nuisance wild animals are bold and don’t mind if you actually see them damaging your home or property.  Too many people have walked outside to investigate a noise to see a Maryland raccoon tearing through their siding or a Maryland woodpecker hammering away at a soffit or a Maryland porcupine eating through plywood.

Sometimes they’re more subtle, and you only see signs that they are there.  Maryland voles are not bold creatures, but you can see the tell-tale run of dead grass that looks like a roadmap crisscrossing the yard.  Maryland opossums are very shy, but they leave large and smelly droppings in their wake.  Maryland gophers and moles usually announce their presence through unsightly mounds or fans of dirt surrounding holes.

Of course, all animals die, and when they pass away in your building or on your property, you get to deal with the smell and the contamination.

Contact us when you have a problem with a nuisance wild animal.  Your wildlife removal professional is skilled and knowledgeable, and will remove the problem animals safely, humanely, legally and effectively.  Your professional can also repair the damage the animals caused, clean, sanitize and deodorize the site, and install blockers where necessary.

We love animals, but we understand how frustrating and sometimes frightening it is when a wild animal damages your home and property and threatens your health and safety.  Contact us, your full-service network.  Our purpose is to take care of your nuisance wildlife problem and get you back to your normal life as safely and quickly as possible.

There are 27 different varieties of Maryland snakes, only two of which are poisonous – the copperhead and the timber rattlesnake.  Occasionally snakes will use building foundations or basements as nesting grounds, but more often a solitary snake will come onto your property or in your building in search of food.  Finding a snake in your home or business may be an indication other rodents, such as Maryland rats or snakes or chipmunks are in and around your building.

It is estimated there are 84 mammal species in Maryland, as well as 85 reptile and amphibian species and 233 bird species.

Much more than just an irritation, destruction to houses and land in Maryland by animals can be pricey and hard to manage. Even more potentially dangerous than material damage, many wildlife and animal pests carry illnesses that could be highly harmful when transmitted to livestock, household pets and humans.

Each and every animal that invades your house, land or business has specific skills or adaptations that permit them to thrive in and around places where they create a threat or danger. Animal pests come into properties and homes searching for protection and food, or surroundings with the correct humidity or temperature. Very important in Maryland animal and bird control is taking away the allure for animal pests to your home, whether it is a food source, a place to hide or a particular habitat.

Did You Know...
Bees have been known to be a true complication for landowners when they're able to discover an opening in an outside wall or inside a chimney. After they locate an opening, they will find a void in an interior wall and construct a nest. Bee nests are constructed of wax cells that, at any point, can have several pounds of honey supply. If bees are given the opportunity to properly shelter their homes, they have been known to easily live through winter months. Unquestionably a reason for extracting bees from land is their potential to sting animals and people. Also, nests can cause unattractive damage, and bees attract other insect pests to the places they inhabit.
